One of the most rapidly advancing areas of science today is in the field of biomolecular and biomedical research. Discoveries of how molecules, that are the fundamental elements of biological systems, work have been instrumental in advancing our understanding of health and disease in all forms of life. At the UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science (SBBS), we harness the complementary energies of research and teaching to produce confident, highly skilled graduates with the potential to make major contributions to the knowledge economy in Ireland and abroad.
