Welcome to the SILS Alumni Association
The SILS Alumni Association strives to maintain connections between alumni and SILS thereby providing a platform to encourage life-long mentoring, networking and continued professional development.
Over 1,200 students have graduated from the School of Information and Library Studies (SILS) at degree and post-graduate levels.
The SILS Alumni Association welcomes all graduates of the school to join the association. Complimentary membership is available to new graduates for one year. Individuals who have an interest in information and library science but are not SILS graduates are also welcome to join as associate members.
The work of the board of the alumni association is voluntary. The board is comprised of past alumni and members of the academic and administrative staff at SILS. The board makes decisions regarding future events and activities of the association. If you would like to volunteer to serve on the board please contact us at sils.alumni@ucd.ie.
