Directions to the School of Social Justice

By Bus:
The School of Social Justice at UCD is located on the top floor (floor 5) of the main Library (the James Joyce Library) Building, which is a 5-8 minutes walk from the terminus of the No. 10, which runs frequently from the bottom of Grafton Street as it meets College Green near Trinity's front gate entrance.

To walk to us from the UCD bus terminus bay – walk towards the main campus, you will quickly see the large white Quinn Building, leave this to your left and follow the concrete-covered walkway (which provides shelter in the rain) through the campus. The walkway leads directly to the James Joyce Library (which is UCD’s main library). The Library is immediately opposite the ‘lake’ in the centre of the campus. Enter the building and take the stairs up one flight to the library information booth. At the top of the stairs (with the information booth on your right) you will see red swing doors in the corner of the hallway, which lead to the lifts that will take you to the fifth floor.

The building is fully accessible to wheelchair users –please enter at the side entrance and take the lift to the fifth floor.

By Car:
There are traffic barriers in place at UCD from early morning until 10:30am and again from 4:00-7:00pm. During these times it is best to enter the campus at Foster's Avenue - follow the road into campus - you will come to a T- junction with a white modern building across the road (Quinn Building). Take the turn left and park in any of the available car parks. Make your way to the Quinn Building, leave this to your left and follow the concrete-covered walkway (which provides shelter in the rain) through the campus.
