International Students in Social Justice
Since its foundation, the UCD School of Social Justice has been pleased to welcome students and academic visitors from all five continents. We provide a warm, hospitable and academically supportive environment for international students in UCD. We value diversity in our student population as we recognise the importance of learning about inequality, social justice and women’s issues across cultures. Reflecting our policy of encouraging diversity, over the last five years we have had Erasmus Mundus students and scholars from India and China. And a significant number of Mitchell Scholars from the U.S have chosen the MSc Equality Studies programme as their first choice since the programme was established. Irish Aid has awarded scholarships to students from a range of programme countries for both the Women’s Studies and Equality Studies masters programmes. As we are based in Europe, we are particularly pleased with the high numbers of students who have come to study in the School from all parts of Europe, north south east and west.
