PhD Programme
The PhD in Social Justice can be taken in the area of Equality Studies or Women's Studies in association with the UCD structured PhD programme model. Our PhD programme can be taken on a part-time or full-time basis.
Under the College of Human Sciences Graduate Studies programme the School of Social Justice participates in a Structured PhD programme. In stage 1 of the programmes, students take 40-50 credits of taught modules and develop their research projects. Graduates of our taught masters programmes are admitted with up to 30 credits of advanced standing. Following a Transfer Assessment, students enter stage 2, in which they focus on their research while continuing with some taught modules.
