2021

Call for CORU registered Social Work professionals to facilitate Professional Masters in Social Work Placements

Social Work students from the School of Social Policy. Social Work and Social Justice, partnering with the SAOL project and UCD Community Choir, hold an outdoor singalong to celebrate Recovery Month

The School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice proudly supports Sarah McAuley (BSocSc Social Policy and Sociology student) and Deirdre Healy (Bachelors in Law and Social Justice Alumnus) competing in the Irish Olympic  Hockey team.

Professor Ursula Barry's has recently published a study on The Care Economy, Covid-19 Recovery and Gender Equality. This study was commissioned by the European Parliament Policy Department for Citizens’ Rights and Constitutional Affairs at the request of the FEMM Committee of the Parliament.

Professor Jim Campbell's co-authored article was one of 50 chosen from over 7000 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the premier international social work journal, The British Journal of Social Work

Congratulations to Dr Marie Keenan, who was recently named runner up in the UCD Research Impact Case Study competition. Her case study is called Reimagining Justice and Healing after Sexual Violence.
