Jim Campbell Scholarship Award

Professor Campbell is awarded one of two distinguished scholarships at The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Jim Campbell, Professor of Social Work has been invited by The Chinese University of Hong Kong as one of their two Distinguished Scholars for 2016. The Scholarships are used to invite academics who have served/are serving as editors in top-tier academic journals. Professor Campbell was co-editor of the British Journal of Social Work from 2010-15.  He will engage in a number of scholarly activities in February 2016 including the delivery of a public lecture, an in-house seminar (in the form of research dialogues) with the Faculty’s staff and research students. He will also share his experiences of journal editing and provide individual consultation for staff and research students. Professor Campbell’s research interests include the interface between political conflict and social work practice, and mental health law and social work.
