Appeals & Grade Checking
Requests to view scripts can be made through the School Office by downloading the “Grade Review Form” form from here. The School will set up a time to view scripts and you will be informed of date and time for viewing via the email address you supplied.
Please note that UCD Regulations state: "While viewing their scripts, students will not be allowed to make copies or to
be accompanied by anyone else."
Academic Council Regulations give students the right to request that a check of
their assessed written work be carried out, this is to check that all
material was marked and that all marks were correctly included in the final
result. The check process must be initiated within 30 days of the result of the
assessment being made available to you on the web or otherwise. This process is handled by the Appeals Office and application procedures and fee information is available here.
Apart from the procedures described above, students are entitled to use the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act to get a copy of any assessment material which they have created. Written enquiries about this process should be addressed to:

Michael Tierney Building,
University College Dublin,
Belfield, Dublin 4
