ANTERO Workshop Programme ANTERO Network: Network Meeting 31 May-2 June 2017

The ANTERO Jean Monnet (ERASMUS+) network on EU foreign policy is planning its third and final network meeting at UCD SPIRe from 31 May to 2 June. This will include research panels on the effectiveness and coherence of EU foreign, security and defence policies, as well as panels devoted to teaching in EU foreign policy. A particular focus will be on the use of problem-based learning in the classroom and innovative teaching methods. UCD DEI will also be hosting a public policy roundtable on how practitioners and academics can better collaborate to explain and understand EU foreign, security and defence policy. This roundtable (June 1) will be open to interested colleagues. For more information on participation in the ANTERO network event please contact nikola.tomic@ucd.ie or  ben.tonra@ucd.ie. Project details are also available at the ANTERO web site: http://www.eufp.eu/antero. This latter includes a series of teaching aids and supports with teaching innovation 'fiches', being uploaded to the dedicated web site. You can also find a complete podcast record of the research and teaching panels from the November 2016 London ANTERO network event; with papers on the external legitimacy of EU foreign policy and teaching panels on the use of social media and simulations in teaching on EU foreign policy.
