Swimming opens Team Ireland’s Student Games’ campaign on Sunday at the World University Games in Shenzhen, China.

This event marks the 26th International University Sports Federation (FISU) Summer Universiade and 26 Irish athletes are competing in six different sports including Archery, Athletics, Golf, Swimming, Taekwondo and Weightlifting.

UCD has 5 representatives; Stephen Walsh and John Greene in Golf and Niamh O’Sullivan, Aisling Cooney and Niall Wynn in Swimming.
