UCD started their hectic week, with 7 matches in 8 days, by being the first team this season to limit Pembroke to below 10 goals as 'Broke continued their blistering start to the domestic season. 

Alan Sothern started the rout and Conor Harte added another couple to his tally from the top of the circle at corner-time. The students, though, matched Pembroke for ball pace with Shane O'Donnell, making his competitive debut for college, providing excellent distribution and intensity and had their share of chances, but found 'Brokes world class Irish number 1 David Harte just too good. They play Leinster Senior Cup champions Corinthian this Saturday, the 24th, before travelling up to Belfast for Intervarsities.
