UCD produced back-to-back league victories for the first time since their promotion back to the top tier as they continued their improvement to beat Fingal bringing them to 7th in the league. John McInroy scored the only goal of the first half, once again the student's intricate corner machine paying dividends, as the player-coach deflected home. Tom Manning equalised within a minute of the second half restart. But Tim Hill scored a corner rebound from Rob Lynch drag-flick for the winner. Fingal almost gained a share of the spoils in the last minute but Ross Gribben produced the save of the day to keep out David Bane's effort as UCD got the points their effort deserved.
