The UCD Women's soccer team secured their place in the Futsal finals after winning three of their four matches in Blanchardstown on Thursday. These finals will be held in Galway in January. 

UCD had a strong squad on the day during this 5 a-side tournament. Louise Quinn had her scoring boots on, hitting the net eight times, while Geraldine Buttle put away two for the UCD team. They were victorious over college sides DCU, DIT, and Blanchardstown IT, but luck went the wrong way when they were defeated by Trinity. But these wins were enough to send them to Galway in January to play the other top teams in the finals of this tournament of which they won out two years ago.
