UCD Ladies Hockey Club are attempting to make history once more as they plan to defend their title as Irish Senior Cup holders.

The UCD Ladies Hockey club enjoyed a fantastic season in 2009, with the first team securing an historic victory in the Irish Senior Cup for the first time in 58 years beating reigning champions Pegasus 4-1 in the final.

This weekend the team will continue the defence of their Irish cup title as they take on Leinster rivals Loreto in the semi-final.

The match is on Saturday 16th January at 2.45 at The National Hockey Stadium in Belfield as they attempt to make history once more!
