UCD were unfortunate as they made the way up to Deramore Park only to fall at the hands of Belfast Harlequins.
UCD made the trip up north to what was sure to be an exciting game between two closely matched sides.
Belfast Harlequins hauled themselves back into contention the previous weekend with an impressive 36-point haul against Old Wesley. Prior to the match they sat just three points behind second-placed DLSP, who also lost last time out.
Saturday's meeting was another vital game for both sides with the winner likely to move closer to that coveted promotion and play-off spot.
'Quins had lost one game more than UCD but had secured three losing bonus points and two try bonuses to keep them in the hunt.
The students lost to Lansdowne last time out but that is no guide at this stage. This was a really tough game to call however disappointing for the students who were the wrong side of the score board. Final score: 6-18.
