UCD Cyclist qualifies for World Duathlon Championships in Edinburgh

UCD Cycling Club Captain, Eoin Fitzpatrick, qualified for the Ireland squad for the World Duathlon Championships in Edinburgh in September on the back of his top 4 finish in the qualifying race which was held at Punchestown on the 1^st of February.

The course which consisted of a 3.5km run, a 20km bike ride and a 3.5km run attracted 149 competitors in what turned out to be very foggy conditions. Fellow UCD CC rider, Ian Richardson, finished in 5^th and there is a possibility that he too will join the international squad later in the year.
