UCD Marian suffered another aganosing loss to Dublin rivals, Killester in the Superleague this weekend.

UCD fell to the end of the Northern Conference table after an unfortunate loss to League leaders Killester. Ulster Elks had a surprise win over Southern Conference leaders Limerick, to knock UCD down to bottom spot.

Killester are well on the way to securing the Northern Conference after the commanding 89 64 win over Marian in front of a full house at the IWA in Clontarf. As Dublin rivals, Killester did suffer defeat to UCD/Marian earlier in the season however Killester got revenge as they comfortably knocked UCD out of this years National Cup in the semi-final stage. UCD were still without the injured Daniel James, who went off injured in U20 final of the National Cup and as starter and one of UCDs leading scorers this year, the young scholarship student was a big loss to the college side.

Killester however made was no mistake this time around with National Cup hero Jermaine Turner producing another exceptional display with 36 points.

It is getting close to Play-Off time and unfortunately it is not looking good for UCD who have a mere three wins this season. Killester on the other hand are looking for the treble (National Cup, Northern Conference, League outright) and with only five games left in the regular season, it is now down to a matter of pride for UCD.
