UCD's U20 team were victorious in a tough battle against rivals Lansdowne, while the first team were unfortunate to fall short to DLSP Palmerstown.

A big Dublin derby proved to be a cracking high scoring game at Kirwan Park last Saturday.
Although UCD lie second the students still have an outside chance of making the play-offs and have racked up over 200 points so far this season.
De La Salle Palmerstown currently are second and their fate in their own hands despite their loss to Belfast Harlequins last month. They won well away to Greystones last time out but unfortunately for UCD it was anticipated that they should be good enough to keep themselves in second place with a win last weekend. And that they got. A free-scoring clash at Kirwan Park went DLSP's way when they overcame UCD 30-20.

The U20 A’s were not as unfortunate in their campaign against Lansdowne on Sunday as they emerged victorious in a hardened battle in UCD Bowl. The 26-14 win was certainly well earned which leaves them in 3rd place just a point behind Lansdowne and St. Marys but with a game in hand!
