UCD Equestrain Club look forward to the furture having claimed a series win in recent events and competitions

UCD Equestrian club took on Trinity and UCD Vets to win the Colours in Brennanstown Equestrian Centre on Sunday 31 January.

The club filled individual 2,3,4,5 and 6th place in dressage with individual 3rd and 6th place in showjumping and won the team event in prix caprilli and dressage.

To add to this success UCD were also placed 5th overall college at Intervarsities on the weekend of 20 February.Sophie Dillon one of the clubs first years won the showjumping out right with Emma Ponsonby placing 6th overall in the showjumping. The team of Eoin Fives, Sophie Dillon and Emma Ponsonby placed 6th in the team showjumping phase.In Dressage, Daisey Grehan another of our first years missed out by a whisker making it into the 3rd round of dressage.

And finally in Prix Caprilli, Christine Cummins and Luke McMullanplaced 1st and 2nd respectively in the individuals and UCD won thisteam event too with the team of Christine Cummins, Luke McMullan and Lisa Carroll.Congratulations to all who participated in the competitions (especially our newcomers and first years) and it can be said that UCD Equestrian Club has a bright future ahead of them.
