UCD Ladies Hockey team travelled to Bray on Saturday and came out with a 1-0 win and also a qualificatin for next years IHL
UCD Ladies Hockey team guaranteed a 4th place finish in the league after a 1-0 win over Bray on Saturday.
Rosie Carrigan's scrambled corner goal five minutes from time finally earned the win for UCD at Bray. Bray defended well and frustrated the students for long periods, keeping out multiple corners until Carrigan eventually scored while the hosts were down to ten players
This makes it the highest ever league finish for the girls and means that the team qualify automatically for next years Irish Hockey League.
UCD still have 2 games left to play as they take on Railway and Alex.
