UCD Scholarship student Steven Colvert was in action today during his heat of the men's 200m in the 20th European Athletics Championships Montjuïc Olympic Stadium, Barcelona, Spain.

Fellow Irish man, Paul Hession has also just made it through to Saturdays 200m Final as one of the fastest loosers in a time of 20.57. Paul was through to this evening’s 200 metres semi-final after a second place finish in Heat 4 this morning. The sprinter was just one hundredth of a second behind Briton Marlon Devonish.
