Nominations for the Annual UCD Sport Awards are now open. Award categories include the ‘Dr. Tony O’Neill Sportsperson of the Year’, the ‘Gerry Horkan Club Administrator of the Year’, the ‘Club of the Year’, along with team and individual awards. The David O’Connor Memorial Medal is also presented to a student or member of staff from the Veterinary Programme.

The criteria for nomination require actual victories and the range of activities may include Irish University Championship successes, as well as provincial, national and international achievements. In some cases, selection to a representative or national side may qualify. Victories in Colours matches or Challenge matches do not qualify.

The awards will be presented at an awards ceremony, to be held on May 23rd.  Nominations close Thursday April 28th at 5pm.  Nominations received after this date will not be considered.
