After another great weekend for Collidge rugby the 1st team moved closer to the Division 2 title. By beating Malone 61-17 the unbeaten run continued. The last match of the League campaign, the Colours, against Trinity on April 16th will decide if the already promoted side can clinch the title.

The Under 21’s had an epic victory over a very good Clontarf side in the Semi final of the Frazer McMullen All Ireland Cup.  Tries by Jordan Egan, Eoin Joyce and Ben Doyle and some fine place kicking by Niall Earls took College into a 22-13 lead.  Although Clontarf struck back with a late try great defence held out to gain a place for UCD in the Final next Sunday.

The all-conquering J1’s beat Greystones 32-11 in the quarter final of the Metropolitan Cup.  They will now play Garda in the semi-final.

Continuing in a winning vein the Under 21 B’s won their Purcell Cup replay against Blackrock College 29-27 and will now play St Mary’s College in the quarter final.

In the Winters Cup the J4’s had a convincing 30-24 win against Trinity on Wednesday night and will now play in the quarter final against opponents yet to be decided.
