Brian Mullins
Director of Sport

Appointed as Director of Sport in April 2000, Brian holds a BA degree in Physical Education and Irish from Thomond College and a MA degree in Administration from New York University. A noted Gaelic Footballer, he was a player on the Dublin Senior Team for 11 years and holds four All-Ireland medals.

Responsible for the overall development and resources of UCD sport.

Suzanne Bailey
Sports Development Manager

Responsible for initiating and progressing the development of sport at UCD in terms of participation, facility provision and sports funding. Suzanne also looks after the marketing and promotional aspects of sport at UCD. She is also the Athletic Union Council Executive Secretary, manages the Sports Scholarship Programme and represents UCD on both the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Local Sports Partnership and CUSAI. Suzanne holds a BSc. Management Degree from Dublin University and is a graduate of the Smurfit School of Business Marketing Development Programme.

Georgina Dwyer
Executive Assistant

Responsible for the Sports Information Office, administration, scholarship programme and Schools marketing and promotional activities. Georgina is a UCD graduatewith a BSc in Sport Management, HDip in Neuromuscular Therapy in the National Training Centre and has an MA in Marketing from Dublin Business School. Georgina represents UCD Sport on a number of committees including the Intercollegiate Committee and Marketing and Comunications Committee in CUSAI. Georgina runs the UCD ladies Basketball team UCD and is also involved in the Men's Superleague Basketball team.

Brian Cashman
Manager

Brian has worked with UCD Sport since 2009 and is currently responsible for the UCD Climbing Wall and Personnel Management within the Sports Centre. Before moving to the sports industry Brian spent 10 years working in commercial roles within the financial services & banking sector both national and multinational. He qualified as a Professional Stockbroker via the Institute of Bankers Ireland and studied Social Science in Dublin Business School. Brian is currently Studying an M.Sc in Sport and Exercise Management in UCD. He is keen sports enthusiast he has particular interest in personal fitness and in both playing and coaching soccer.

Carmel Kissane
Sports Education Officer

 Is responsible for actively planning, promoting and improving healthier lifestyles within UCD and the local community.  She has developed a range of health and exercise programmes for UCD students, UCD staff, and the general public which operates under the successful UCD Get in Gear programme model.  Carmel also lectures in Sport Psychology here at UCD and has lectured for a number of years in WIT and I.T. Tralee. She is qualified with a Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology and holds a BA in Recreation and Leisure Management from WIT.  On the sporting front, she has competed internationally for Ireland in both basketball and soccer.

Paula Cashman
Manager

Paula is a senior manager of UCD Sports Centre who is also responsible for all outdoor synthetic facilities as well as general supervisory duties. She is a graduate of the BSc. Programme in Health, Fitness and Leisure Studies from I.T. Tralee with over 10 years experience in the Sports & Fitness Industry and is currently completing the MSc. in Sport & Exercise Management in UCD. She has represented Shamrock Rovers Ladies Football Club at both National and Champions League level and is a former Republic of Ireland International.

Lisa Geiran
Sports Centre Manager

Is a Sports Centre Manager here at UCD Sport and is responsible for the development and implementation of UCD‘s successful Children’s Sports Programmes aswell as coordinating the Multi-Activity Sports Camps, School Tours, UCD Sport Saturday AM Club and Birthday Parties for Children. Lisa is a graduate from UCD in Landscape Architecture, and has a keen interest in soccer where she is currently involved in the coaching team in UCD Women’s Soccer Club.

Jenna Geiran
Sports Centre Manager

Jenna is a Sports Centre Managers here at UCD Sport. She is responsible for the management of all indoor facilities and with her avid experience in the fitness industry; she also oversees the co-ordination and scheduling of Sports Centre Fitness Courses & Classes. Jenna is a graduate from UCD in Sports Management and has a keen interest in soccer where she is the current Secretary of the UCD Women’s Soccer Club and a committee member of the Women's Soccer College Association of Ireland.   Jenna is currently Studying an MSc in Sport and Exercise Management in UCD

Barry Mahoney
Sport Centre Manager

Barry has invested three energetic years at UCD Sports Centre as he joined the team in 2009; He began his Management role in January 2012 taking the responsibility of all safety matters in the building as well as cleaning and maintenance. He has helped to develop UCD’s Circuit Classes to become one of the most successful fitness classes in the Sports Centre. He has coached tennis internationally and has used his immense enthusiasm to instruct, at UCD Sports Camps, UCD Sport Saturday AM Club and the UCD Get in Gear programmes. In his free time he enjoys Open Water Sea Swimming and is a member of Glenalbyn Masters
