Policy Related Activities:
Professor Helen Burke has chaired the council for Children's Hospitals' Care since its establishment in December 1999. The council works with the three children's hospitals in Dublin and the ERHA to help them in working co-operatively together for the sick children in their care and their families. This involves writing reports on issues of mutual concern, facilitating the implementation of these reports and planning for the future. 
Helen Burke serves on the Board of Directors of Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross and chairs their Education Committee.
