The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at UCD maintains close contact with Irish and international recruiters and graduates of our actuarial programmes are highly sought after by employers.

We aim to facilitate contact between actuarial students and prospective employers by providing:

• an electronic notice board accessible by all actuarial students where employers can  advertise  their positions.
• assistance in arranging presentations and interviews.

If you would like to bring a position at your company to the attention of our final year and higher diploma actuarial students please provide us with a one-page flyer containing a brief description of the position, a deadline for receipt of applications and a contact address for applications.

Work Experience Placements for 3rd year undergraduate students:

Penultimate year undergraduate actuarial students undertake a 6 month work placement in an actuarial environment to obtain practical experience of actuarial work.

The work experience placement run from January to July and interviews are usually held in the preceding October or November.
