How to set your ucd email preferences

The University uses email as an official means of communication with students and provides a UCD Connect email to each student for this purpose. In July 2015, the following change was made to the UCD student email protocol: in addition to the UCD Connect email, communications will also be sent to the personal email account of all students who have provided a non-UCD Connect email address.

Your UCD Connect email address remains the main point of contact for all communications.

If I stop getting emails to my personal account can I decide to then get them sent to both again?
Yes, go to ‘My Profile’ in SISWeb to change your email settings back to ‘Both UCD and Personal email addresses’.

When is this change happening?
From 1 July 2015, communications will be sent to the personal email account for all applicants and students who have provided a non-UCD Connect email address.
