UCD Active Campus Europe (ACE)

The UCD Active Campus Europe (ACE) programme is open to all UCD students. This programme is designed to support you to be more active and feel better and is part of an initiative being rolled out across 16 European Universities. The programme’s exclusive range of group exercise classes are delivered by an experienced fitness instructor and are supplemented throughout its duration with motivational assistance and dietary advice. So whether you have been active before or not, and if you are interested in improving your health and feeling better, then this programme is for you. The UCD ACE student programme is delivered by UCD Sport in partnership with the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science, and the UCD Institute of Food and Health and incorporates elements of the previous ‘UCD Get in Gear Get Active’ programme.

Regardless of age or fitness level, the programme provides you with a great opportunity to get involved in sport and exercise activities and to help you take responsibility for your health while you study at UCD. You will enjoy meeting new friends during the classes and bi-weekly social events and will be encouraged and motivated by the positive energy experienced throughout the programme.

The 10-week programme is rolled out in September and January each year and costs €20.
