IMPORTANT FEES INFORMATION
Dear Student,

Our records show an outstanding balance on your UCD student fee account. As you still owe fees, there is currently a hold on your record which will prevent you from accessing your provisional exam results on 10 June 2016 and may also prevent access to your final results on 30 June 2016.

What you need to do
  • Read the information on ‘non-payment of fees’.
  • Check your SISWeb account to see what fees you owe.
  • You can pay online in SISWeb using a credit/debit card - online payments clear straight away. There are also other payment options available.
For more information, visit the Fee Payments website.

If you have recently paid your outstanding fees, thank you and please disregard this email.

Please note:
For more information on what you can do to remove the hold on your account, please read the information below. It is of particular importance to you if you intend to do any of the following:
  • continue to the next stage of your programme
  • finish and graduate
  • progress to graduate studies in UCD

Clearing your debt
Even if your debt is small you should clear it over the summer - ideally before registration begins in mid-August - so that you can start with a clean sheet in September.

Carrying debt forward
You can, however, carry up to €600 forward to 2016/17 – this may help you in managing your finances at the start of the new academic year. Make sure that you are aware of the following:
  • If you owe €600 or less by the 30 June 2016, you will get access to your final results.
  • If you owe more than €600 by 30 June, you will not have access to final results.
  • If you reduce your debt to less than €600 at any point after the 30 June, you will get access to your results the following day.
Please note:
You can carry a maximum debt of €600 and still register for 2016/17.

If your debt is still over €600 by the start of 2016/17, you will not be able to begin registering when your fellow students do. Registration starts from mid-August 2016.

Any carried-forward debt will be added to your 2016/17 charges and will be part of your minimum payment due at the start of 2016/17. Charges for resits and repeats that you are taking in 2016/17 are not included in this minimum.
COMPLETING YOUR DEGREE THIS SUMMER
You must pay off all fees and charges immediately. If you owe fees you will not be allowed access your results or transcripts and you will not be able to graduate.
PROGRESSING TO A POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME AT UCD
You must pay off all fees and charges immediately. If you owe fees you will not be allowed access your results or transcripts and you will not be able to graduate. Also, you will not be able to register to your postgraduate programme at UCD.

Please note that the University reserves the right to engage the services of a third party in pursuit of outstanding fees for students who have left the University.
