INFORMATION FOR SEMESTER 2 2016/17
Dear Student,

We are looking forward to welcoming you back for Semester 2 on Monday, 23 January. This email provides information on the following:
  • Semester 2 registration
  • Important fee information
  • Registering to repeats/resits

It is worth remembering that a number of deadlines fall on 31 January 2017 including the closure of online module registration and a fee deadline for programme withdrawal. There is more information below and on our key dates page.

Semester 1 provisional exam results will be available on SISWeb by 2.00pm on Wednesday, 25 January until 5.00pm on Tuesday, 31 January 2017.

SEMESTER 2 REGISTRATION
What you need to know
You need to confirm your continued attendance at UCD at the start of Semester 2. If you have not already done this, please go to SISWeb and click on Enter Registration Process as soon as possible (by 31 January at the latest).

If you need to make changes to Semester 2 module registrations you should do this through online registration in SISWeb by 5.00pm on Tuesday, 31 January 2017.

Please check the key dates to make sure that you know about any deadlines that affect you(e.g. module registration, withdrawal dates).

IMPORTANT FEE INFORMATION
What you need to know
The next instalment of fees for 2016/17 is due on Tuesday, 31 January 2017.

Check the fee payment information to see how much you need to pay. If you have made any changes to your registration since your first instalment, please remember that this could affect the amount due.

Online payments can be made through your SISWeb account. To view your fees balance, visit SISWeb, enter your UCD student number and password and click on the Registration, Fees and Assessment tab. Select Programme Fees & Payments to view your balance and make a payment.

Information on fees for 2017/18 is now available for many programmes. Students on a multi-year programme should note that fees can be subject to change from year to year.

REPEATS/RESITS REGISTRATION
What you need to know
Provisional exam results will be available on SISWeb no later than 2.00pm on Wednesday, 25 January 2017. If you have failed any modules from Semester 1 please check the resits and repeats information on the UCD website.

Between 2.00pm on 25 January and 5.00pm on 31 January 2017, you will be able to register to any repeats/resits through the Repeats/Subs/Tran page in Online Registration. If you have modules with WL or WX grades, you will be able to register to a next attempt for those as well.

VIEW YOUR STUDENT RECORD
What you need to know
You can view your student record in SISWeb at any point. To do this, log into SISWeb using your UCD student number and password. Click on the Registration, Fees & Assessment tab and select UView in the menu list.

UView allows you to check information such as your Programme history, contact information, module registration, GPA and grades.

CAMPUS CAR PARKING FOR SEMESTER 2
What you need to do
Permit Parking Annual Fee
If you have paid the annual permit parking fee please check that you have your correct car licence plate number recorded on your parking permit account.

Permit Parking Semester 2 Fee
If you only paid for Semester 1 and wish to use permit parking in Semester 2 (23 January – 28 April 2017) you must log on to your parking permit account and pay the €25 fee due. Please ensure that your permit parking fee is paid before parking on campus during this period and that your correct car licence plate number is registered for your parking permit. No permit is required for Semester 3.

New Permit Parking Account Holders
To apply for a permit parking account go to www.ucd.ie/commuting and choose Parking in UCD from the top menu and then Parking Permit – Apply option. Follow the instructions to complete and pay for your permit.
