CAMPUS CAR PARKING
|
What you need to know
From Monday, 7 September 2015 a permit car parking system will be in operation on the Belfield and Blackrock campuses to ensure that car parking is only used by members of the University community and as a means of controlling demand. Eligible UCD community members (including students) may apply for a UCD Parking Permit. The UCD Parking Permit will be an electronic permit based on the car registration number and will cost €25 for Semester 1 or €50 for the academic year. Purchase of a permit will not guarantee a parking space on campus. UCD Parking permits must be used in designated car parks and will not be valid in hourly paid parking spaces. Parking charges apply (8am-5pm, Monday – Friday, excluding bank holidays) during Semester 1 and Semester 2. Outside of these hours, all car parking is free of charge with the exception of the premium rate parking spaces. Limited premium rate parking spaces are marked as yellow spaces and parking charges of €5/hr apply 24/7.
