GET READY FOR REGISTRATION 2016/17 – AUGUST UPDATE
Dear Student,

The main registration season for 2016/17 starts this week. If you are returning to UCD this September, you will find some important information below on the following:
  • Online registration
  • Paying your fees
  • Registering to repeats/resits
  • UCD Student Card (UCARD)

ONLINE REGISTRATION 2016/17
What you need to know
Undergraduate* and Graduate Taught students - check your UCD Connect email for confirmation of your Start Time for module registration. Your Start Time is open-ended so you can begin your registration any time from the date/time confirmed in the email.

*If you missed your chance to book your Start Time, don't worry. One will be allocated to you and confirmation sent to your UCD email.

Undergraduate Stage 1 Repeat students can book a Start Time on 31 August (from 8.00am to 1.00pm). You will begin module registration on 1 or 2 September (depending on your Start Time).

Online registration for Graduate Research students opens on 16 August 2016.

All students must go online to confirm their registration to their programme.

PAY YOUR FEES
What you need to know
Check the website for the fee payment dates and what you need to pay for 2016/17.

Online payments can be made through your SISWeb account. Other payment options are also available.

Fees for undergraduate students will be charged on a modular basis. This means that as you register to/drop modules, your fee charges will change accordingly. Check your fee account on a regular basis to ensure that you have met your fee payment requirements.

To complete your online grant application or track its progress, visit the SUSI website.

Please note
If you still owe fees from 2015/16, it may affect the following:
  • Access to examination results (including transcripts and statements)
  • Registration for 2016/17
  • Graduation/conferring if you are completing
  • Admission to a new programme in UCD

REPEATS/RESITS REGISTRATION
What you need to know
When online registration opens for you in August, you will be able to register to any repeats/resits through the Repeats/Subs/Tran page in Online Registration. You will be able to register to any WL/WX modules as well.

What you need to know
Your UCARD is your official identification card for the duration of your programme in UCD so please make sure you look after it over the summer.

Once you have confirmed your registration for 2016/17, your UCARD will remain active.

DATES FOR SEMESTER 1 EXAMS 2016/17
What you need to know
Semester 1 exams will run from 10-22 December 2016. The exams will finish at 2pm on Thursday, 22 December 2016.
