IMPORTANT FEES INFORMATION
|
Dear Student
Our records show an outstanding balance on your UCD student fee account. As you still owe fees, there is currently a hold on your record which will prevent you from accessing your provisional exam results on 5 June 2015 and may also prevent access to your final results on 25 June 2015.
What you need to do
If you have recently paid your outstanding fees, thank you and please disregard this email.
Please note:
For more information on what you can do to remove the hold on your account, please read the information below. It is of particular importance to you if you intend to do any of the following:
- continue to the next stage of your programme
- finish and graduate
- progress to graduate studies in UCD
Kind regards,
Andrew Myler

Clearing your debt
Even if your debt is small you should clear it over the summer - ideally before registration begins in mid-August - so that you can start with a clean sheet in September.
Carrying debt forward
You can, however, carry up to €600 forward to 2015/16 – this may help you in managing your finances at the start of the new academic year. Make sure that you are aware of the following:
- If you owe €600 or less by the 25 June 2015 you will get access to your final results.
- If you owe more than €600 by 25 June you will not have access to final results.
- If you reduce your debt to less than €600 at any point after the 25 June, you will get access to your results the following day.
Please note:
You can carry a maximum debt of €600 and still register for 2015/16.
If your debt is still over €600 by the start of 2015/16 you will not be able to begin registering when your fellow students do. Registration starts from mid-August 2015.
Any carried-forward debt will be added to your 2015/16 charges and will be part of your minimum payment due at the start of 2015/16. Charges for resits and repeats that you are taking in 2015/16 are not included in this minimum.
