UCD REGISTRY Get ready for registration 2017/18 - July update

Dear Student, Preparations for UCD Registration 2017/18 are under way and, in order to help you get ready for the start of term, we have provided some important information below on the following: Online registration Paying your fees Registering to repeats/resits Semester 1 Exam dates Thesis submissions dates for Graduate students Staying connected If you are completing your studies with UCD in 2016/17, we wish you every success in your future career or further study. Online Registration If you are an undergraduate student, you will need to log into SISWeb between 2 and 14 August to book a Registration Start Time for your module registration. Check Key Dates to see when to do this for your programme/stage. Online registration will open in mid-August – check Key Dates for information about your programme/stage. BA students: further information on registration will be available at http://www.ucd.ie/ahss/study/registration2017/ in early August. Please keep an eye on your UCD Connect email for updates. Paying your fees You must pay the appropriate amount of fees in order to be a fully registered student. You will see a breakdown of your 2017/18 fees in your SISWeb account when online registration opens for you in August. Online payments can be made through your SISWeb account. Check the fee payment dates. BDIC students: you pay your fees directly to BJUT. UCD fees payment will only be relevant if you decide to study for a year at UCD in Dublin. EU students - if you are on a multi-year programme then your fees are subject to change from year to year. Non-EU students - if you started a multi-year programme in, or after, 2014/15, your fees will remain the same as the year you started (providing you remain on the same programme). If you still need to complete your online grant application, visit the SUSI website. It is important that you make your application now if you have not already done so. Please note If you still owe fees from 2016/17, it may affect the following: Access to examination results (including transcripts and statements) Registration for 2017/18 Graduation/conferring if you are completing Admission to a new programme in UCD Read more

Repeats/Resits Registration When online registration opens for you in August, you will be able to register to any repeats/resits through the Repeats/Subs/Tran page in Online Registration. You will be able to register to any WL/WX modules as well. See more on the Repeats/Resits web page. Read more

Dates for Semester 1 Exams 2017/18 Semester 1 exams will run from 11-22 December 2017. The exams will finish at 2pm on Friday, 22 December 2017. BDIC students: check your Academic Calendar for your exam dates. Read more

Thesis submissions dates for Graduate Students The final submission deadline for September start Graduate Research students due to complete later this summer is 8 September 2017. Read more
