UCD Freshers' Week & Sports Expo 2016 - This Week

UCD Freshers' Week and Sports Expo is in full swing at the Student Centre with over 80 societies and 50 sports clubs to choose from. There's events, demonstrations and free stuff every day so make sure to keep an eye on posters, social media and our website. Open daily from 9.00am-5.00pm.

Complete your Module Registration

Make sure to complete your module registration before Friday, 23 September if you are an Undergraduate student and Friday, 30 September if you are a Graduate Taught student. If you need some advice talk to your Programme Office, School Office or the Student Desk who will be happy to assist.

UCD Library Competition for New Students

Our competition continues until Friday, 23 September. Pick up an entry form in any of our five locations and submit in the boxes provided. Lots of great prizes on offer including a pair of wireless Beats headphones! Check out our guide for new students too!

Registration is now open for the UCD Get in Gear Get Active student programme

Register online through SISWeb for the upcoming UCD Get in Gear Get Active student programme. The cost is €20 for this seven week exercise programme. There are many benefits on offer exclusive only to GIG members. Let's Get in Gear this semester at UCD. Check out the Get in Gear website for further information.

SISWeb Online Forms

Since August 2016 you can now make an application for a leave of absence via an online form within your SISWeb account. You can find more information on applying for a leave of absence on the Current Students website along with information on programme withdrawals (which have also moved online).

UCD Voluntary Student Tutoring Scheme

Why not try something new and rewarding by becoming a voluntary second level school tutor? Tutor Junior or Leaving Cert pupils one-to-one, in the pupils’ school on Tuesday nights from 6.30pm-8.30pm, 27 September to 25 October (5 sessions). Apply online by 3.00pm, Thursday, 15 September 2016.

UCDVO Info Evening

The UCD Volunteers Overseas Programme is open to all UCD Students, Staff and Alumni. If you are interested in applying, attend our info evening in B004 in Health Sciences Centre on Monday, 26 September at 6.00pm. More information is available on the UCDVO website.

UCD Sport Seminar Series - Gambling Addiction and Sport

UCD Sport and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Sports Partnership are hosting a FREE seminar at 7.15pm on Tuesday, 27 September in the O’Connor Theatre (UCD Science Hub), covering the area of gambling addiction and sport, with experts and guest speakers. Further information is available on our website.

Jane Lynch receives awards from both L&H and Dramsoc

Be the Change - a six week evening course run by UCDVO

'Be the Change' is a six week course commencing 4 October 2016. The course is aimed at students, staff or alumni of UCD with an interest in activism and awareness raising in Ireland. Applications open on 19 September. More information can be found on our website.
