 | This initiative is brought to you from Healthy UCD, Estate Services, #UCDFOOD Project and supported by our on-site restaurant and retail units. The aim of #UCDFOOD is to develop a sustainable annual initiative to improve the UCD healthy eating culture. The #UCDFOOD team will run campus-wide healthy eating awareness initiatives using social media, hold interactive information sessions, lunchtime talks and other events. A “UCD Healthy Option” will be served daily in participating restaurants to encourage behaviour change. The impact of the #UCDFOOD project will be assessed based on the uptake of the “UCD Healthy Option” in restaurants as well as social media metrics. Find out more here.
