Struggling financially during your studies? The Student Support Fund opens on 10 October

UCD recognises that some students may struggle financially during their studies. The Student Support Fund opened on Tuesday, 10 October. SUSI grant holders and non-SUSI grant holders may apply for €500 funding and may be eligible based on 2016 income criteria. Apply as soon as possible as funds will be disbursed as applications are received.

Laurence Crowley Lecture Series: Advanced Innovative Biotechnologies

There is a new understanding among governments and regulatory bodies that regulatory systems will need to become smarter and more adaptive and proportionate to the risks and benefits of innovative biotechnologies. We welcome Professor Joyce Tait, Innogen Institute, to discuss a new approach to achieving this necessary adaptation, involving the creative use of standards in a more equitable relationship with regulatory systems than they have had in the past.
