|Two new policies are now available. The Conflict of Interest Policy details how to avoid a conflict of interest arising and procedures to follow should a conflict arise. The Employee-Student Relationship Policy relates to a specific conflict of interest that could arise, where the onus of responsibility of disclosure lies with the employee.|
|The Department of Preventive Medicine and Health Promotion at St Vincent’s University Hospital are running a free evening stop smoking course beginning on Monday, 8 May 2017. |UCD Better Bones is a community based exercise programme that is suitable for improving bone health. It involves exercises designed by chartered physiotherapists targeted at sustaining bone health, as well as educational talks from a dietitian and pharmacist. This starts 23 May for 7 weeks.
Better Hearts is a programme designed for improving cardiovascular health after a cardiac event starting on 23 May for 6 weeks.
