Our records show that you were on a leave of absence from UCD and are due back in September 2014. If you are returning to UCD, you will find information below on registration, fees and the supports available.

If you decide not to return and would either like to extend your leave of absence or withdraw from the University please speak with your Graduate School/Programme Office as soon as possible. For information and advice on leave of absence go to

Support and Advice

As you are returning to your programme after a period of absence you should contact your Graduate School Office/Programme Office for advice and programme support.

Other supports you may wish to avail of include the UCD Student Advisers and Student Health Services. Click here for a full list of the support available to you.
Confirm Registration for 2014/15

When online registration opens for you please log into SISWeb and click on the Enter Registration button to confirm your registration.

Online registration for graduate research students is currently open.

Online registration for graduate taught students opens from 14 August. Check your UCD Connect email to see when you can start your module registration. There is a step-by-step guide to online registration available if you need help.

Fees and Grants news

You need to pay the appropriate amount of fees in order to be a fully registered student.
2014/15 Fees for Graduate Taught programmes are available here.
2014/15 Fees for Research programmes are available here.

A breakdown of your fees will be displayed on your student account when online registration opens for you for 2014/15. You can pay online in SISWeb or in any bank using the UCD Fee Payment Form/Giro.

Please note that if you have any fees and charges outstanding from 2013/14, you will not be able to register for 2014/15.

If you have applied to SUSI for a grant please note that there is no need to contact UCD about it as SUSI will tell us if your application is successful.


Student Card (UCARD)

Student Cards are produced by the UCARD Bureau. Your Student Card is your official identification here in UCD so please look after it.

If your Student Card for your current programme was issued in or after 2010/11 you will not need to get a new card this September as you will already have a Student UCARD. When you register and pay your fees this will reactivate your student card for 2014/15 allowing you access to the Library and other facilities.

If your Student Card for your current programme was issued before 2010/11 you will need to get a new card. This service is free of charge. Just go to the UCARD Bureau and exchange your old card for a new card.

If you have misplaced or lost your card you will need to get a replacement card. This costs €30 and will be available at the UCARD Bureau.

For a single view of your student record, check UView on the Registration, Fees & Assessment tab in SISWeb. Information provided includes your credits earned and attempted as well as your GPA per stage. For more on this visit UView.
