If someone close to you dies, this can affect you in a deep and personal way. It can also lead to many practical, academic and personal challenges. For example, you may need to take time out from UCD to attend the funeral and you may need to miss some exams. Or, you may find it hard to concentrate on your studies and feel that you may not do as well as you normally would because of what has happened.

If this happens to you, there are people in UCD who you can talk to.
