Student mobility

The TABE.NET project offers students studying Biosystems Engineering at VT, UIUC, UCD, UniBar, AUA and UPM the opportunity to study across the Atlantic for  1 semester or 1 academic year. We welcome your application to the exchange programme.  If you are selected to participate in the mobility programme, we will match you with a host institution (one of the consortium members) based on your qualifications, the pool of students accepted, and the requirement to balance exchanges between consortium members.  Competitive scholarships are available for a limited number of students.

Details of BSEN curricula at each partner site can be found here

Following your successful application, you will be placed provisionally on a pre-mobility preparation programme that will assist you in meeting your host institution’s entry requirements (language, GPA). Formal acceptance by the host will be confirmed 6 months before the due travel date, at which time the winners of the competitive scholarships will be announced.

To apply for the programme please complete the application form found here.

You can apply at any time, but we recommend application during 1st year / Freshman year / Stage 1 and no later that semester 1 of 2nd year / Sophmore / Stage 2.
