Dr Brona Fullen, of the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy & Population Science, is widening post-graduate Physiotherapy education through the development of a novel MSc programme. Maximising the UCD Horizons Initiative, students enrolled to the Advanced Physiotherapy Studies programme choose from a broad range of established modules within the School tailored to their specific career development needs. The flexible format, designed to be pursued on a full or part-time basis, allows enrolment to individual modules, or as part of a structured postgraduate qualification. She has also integrated her research theme (use of technology in the assessment and management of patients with chronic pain) into the undergraduate curriculum and graduate research programmes.
