Obtain a Qualification in University Teaching 15.06.10

A new suite of University Teaching & Learning modules has been designed to allow staff to study in a flexible manner to build credits towards the award of their choice.

The modules can be built up into a number of different awards, including the UCD Graduate Diploma UTL and have been designed to allow staff to study in a self-paced, flexible manner.  Most modules can be taken either mainly online or as a mentored self-directed project and can be taken in any order.  Applicants should apply initially for the Graduate Diploma in UTL and may exit with the award of their choice.  For more information go to the University Teaching Qualification page or  Download Prospectus 2010-12 .

The fee is €350 per 5-credit module and €1050 per 15-credit module.  Current UCD staff who have completed a minimum of 3 years employment with UCD may be eligible for fee support under the Staff Fee Concessions Policy, provided they fulfil all the criteria set out in the policy.  Recently-appointed staff may be eligible for a funded place on the Becoming a Better University Teacher module, click here for more information.
