Winners of the NDLR LIP Grants 01.02.11

We are pleased to announce a number of funded initiatives for the coming year, as an outcome of the National Digital Learning Repository (NDLR) UCD Learning Innovation Projects Grants scheme. A myriad of stimulating and creative proposals were received from the UCD community. We would like to congratulate the winners and look forward to seeing the outcomes of their projects.

Professor Stephen Carrington: Project - Video Podcasts on Functional Anatomy
Mr Caleb Derven: Project - 19th-Century Irish History: Suite of Digital Learning Objects                
Dr Lee Komito: Project - Papyrus to Cyberspace: Digital Video ePracticums
Ms Kate Matthews: Project - Talking to sick children and their families                
Mr Adam Tattersall: Project - 3 Dimensional Teaching Tools
Dr Judith Wusteman: Project - Using Peer e-Mentoring to support Stage One Undergraduates

An additional outcome of this grants scheme is the decision to add to the already available suite of equipment funded by the NDLR in the purchase of a collection of Flip cameras to be accessible by all staff for use amongst their students. Details will shortly be available on the T&L site.
