reilge Airne, co facaidh int adhnacul arsaidh
acus in cloch nemhghluaiste acus ro fhiarfaigh
Colam Cille: ‘Cia ro hadhnaicedh fón
lic?’ ar sé. ‘Ní fhedamur,’ ar siat, ‘acus
chualamur romhainn.’ Ro fhoillsigh didiu
Dia dó-sum sin tré rath fesa acus faisdine,
acus atbert in rann:

‘A Baithin, anam colléic,
Gatas in Talgaeth salgair,
Is anam go madain ann
Ac abaid Iarusailim.’

Ba fír dó-som sin, ar ba hé Talgaeth
sin .i. ab Iarusailim tánic dia ailithre ó
Iarusailem co hArainn a n-aimsir Ende
acus na naemh archena, co fuair bás a
n-Arainn. Ro hadhnaicedh innti iardain, go
tarfas do Cholam Chille a adhnacul an abad
