 A third year Engineering student has won the 1998 Analog Devices award for Excellence for his work on a challenge to develop an electronic switch. Oisín Ó Cuanacháin beat 17 other contestants for the Electronic Circuit Design competition. Analog's product line manager Tom O'Dwyer praised the high standard achieved by all contestants and said UCD is producing 'very high quality' electronic engineering graduates.
