A new book from UCD Press, Talking of Joyce, publishes lectures delivered in Dublin by Professor Umberto Eco and Dr Liberato Santoro-Brienza and is sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute.  
 Umberto Eco is Professor of Semiotics at the University of Bologna and his lecture was A Portrait of the Artist as a Bachelor, while that given by Dr Liberato Santoro-Brienza, a lecturer in the Department of Philosophy, was Joyce's Dialogue with Aquinas, Dante, Bruno, Vico, Svevo ... .  
  
The book is dedicated to the memory of the late Professor Gus Martin and was launched by Seamus Heaney at the Italian Cultural Institute. In paperback, it costs £5.95.
