Welcome to the home of the University College Dublin Ultimate Frisbee Club - 2009 Indoor Intervarsity Champions and 2008 University Ultimate Tournament (Brussels) Cup Winners. Chilli-O is one of Ireland's top ultimate clubs, and we welcome players of all levels to join the club and compete in events in Dublin, Ireland, the UK, and Europe.

The 2009/2010 season promises to be an exciting one. We continue to encourage players of all skill level and experience to join the club and participate in weekly trainings, fitness session, social events, as well as tournaments throughout the year, home and abroad.

We're aiming to field very competitive open, mixed and women's squads for tournaments throughout the season, and possibly at University Nationals in the UK in the Spring.

2008/2009 highlights include 1st place at Indoor Intervarsities hosted by Trinity College, 2nd place at Brussels University Tournament, top Irish Uni Club at Cork Open and the Siege of Limerick, as well as a very successful Dublin Winter League hosted at UCD.

02.11.09   UCD FINISH 7TH AT THE CORK OPEN 2009
    UCD had a successful weekend in Cork, finishing in a very respectable 7th place. We won our group conceeding only 2 points throughout and then beat Trinity in a hard fought crossover match. We then went on to lose narrowly in the quarter final to the eventual champions, "Broccoli".
22.10.09   WHACKING DAY BEGINNERS TOURNAMENT
    UCD finished off a great weekend out in DCU with UCD 1 finishing in 5th place and UCD 2 losing the plate final to come 10th. The ladies team got to their final for the second year in a row only to lose to a strong Trinity team.
30.09.09   FIRST ANNUAL UCD VS. UL COLOURS MATCH MAKES THE FRONT PAGE
    UCD played what will hopefully become an annual event aginst the University of Limerick last week. Both teams traded points for the entire match, with it ending in a deserved 7-7 draw. You can check it out in this weeks edition of the University Observer on both the front and back page.
10.08.09   UCD STUDENTS FEATURE ON JUNIOR IRISH TEAM AT EUROPEAN YOUTH ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIP
    4 UCD players featured on the Junior Irish Open team at the European Youth Ultimate Championships in Vienna, Austria. Conor Casey, Niall Connaughton, Ben Murray and Cian Keogh were three of the dominent Irish players in the tournament held in August. The team was also coached by UCD student Seamas Kinsella and former student Mark Early.
28.07.09   UCD PLAYERS FEATURE ON SENIOR IRISH TEAM FOR 8 NATIONS
    2 UCD students were featured on the Irish team for the inaugural 8 Nations tournament in Girona, Spain. Danny Bergin and Padraig McMarrow featured prominently in the team with former UCD student Mark Early being selected as Vice Captain. Despite being seeded 3rd, the young Irish team improved to finish 2nd overall being defeated by a very strong Netherlands team in the final. In addition, they took home the Spirit prize in the open division.
21.04.09   UCD PLAYERS FEATURE ON IRISH TEAM AT THE RYLANDS
    2 UCD players featured on the Irish team at The Rylands (formely MLU:UK) held in Manchester, England. Darren Costello and Eoin Savage played in this experimental tournament which featured referees for the first time. Former UCD student Enda Naughton also represented.
17.11.08   UCD WINS INDOOR INTERVARSITIES
    The win came after we beat a Trinity2, Queens Belfast, and DCU in the group stages. We then beat a really spirited Tallaght team in the quarters, then an excellent Trinity1 team in the semis, before we eventually overcame a really tough UCC team in an epic final.
