Lisa Flannery, BA, MSc, Marketing Manager, UCD
Lisa Flannery joined UCD in 2012 as Marketing Manager. Her role encompasses marketing of the university to targeted stakeholders, promoting a coherent university identity through branding and supporting the wider academic community with marketing advice and practical activities.
Lisa drove extensive consultation, quantitative and qualitative market research and strategic planning resulting in the development of a new UCD brand platform and multi-annual campaign structure, encompassing 8 new marketing and advertising campaigns since 2017.
Working with UCD International, Lisa developed a full communications strategy and rolled out the first ever above-the-line overseas student marketing campaign to four regions in 2018.
Lisa completed the Aurora leadership programme for women in Higher Education in 2016 and continues to advocate for the programme within UCD and support it by volunteering as a Role Model.
Prior to joining UCD, Lisa was a senior strategic planner with Ogilvy for four years and with McConnells advertising for five. She also gained local and international training in social media and digital communications.
Lisa graduated from UCD in 2001 with a BA in Psychology and this has led to an ongoing fascination with individual and group behaviour. Lisa was also awarded an MSc in Advertising from DIT in 2002.
