Welcome
Changes in agricultural practice, trends in domestic animal ownership and increasing internationalisation mean that veterinary practitioners are faced with new challenges every day.
While vets and vet nurses have continually developed their professional and clinical skills throughout their careers, the new mandatory requirement for Continuing Veterinary Education (CVE) brings to the fore the need for relevant, timely courses to meet practitioners' needs.
Through the UCD CVE programme, we will offer a range of flexible online, distance and on-campus courses for veterinary practitioners and veterinary nurses. Our first online offerings include Bandaging in Companion Animals, treating Palmar Foot Pain in the Horse, and dealing with Allergic Skin Diseases in Dogs. Members of the UCD CVE learning Community also gain access to online UCD Veterinary Library and it's extensive online collection of journals and other resources.
These online offerings bring CVE to your desktop. We hope you find them of benefit, and always welcome your suggestions for further development.
With best wishes,
Grace
